An LTE radio works just like a classic two-way radio:
you press, you talk, the group hears you.

The difference: the voice travels via the 4G/5G network and is instantly redistributed to all group members, wherever they are.

The only real limitation of LTE is its dependency on mobile networks.
This is a structural constraint that must be factored in from the design stage.
